I figure I'll get myself some # 7 SA Mastery Striped Bass taper, WF/S
with a sink rate of, 1.25-1.75 for my 6 Wt. Avid rod and head over to
the Breezy Point Jetty with Umpqua's Striper/Bluefish 23 piece
assortment. Any advice from experienced Eastern Jetty Jockeys would be
appreciated. Do I still gotta lug a chum bucket?

The Breezy Point jetty is the only one on which I got clobbered
by waves from both sides at the same time: almost became
chum myself. Be careful ! And that is the jetty on which I hooked
into a striper that straightened a 4/0 hook (at least I got a good
look at her before she swam away), so if I went back I would fish
it with something considerably heftier than a 6 wt.
