I stopped using it after loosing several good fish over a couple weeks span.
But it does cast well. While using "iron silk" I hooked the largest bass of
my life and as I worked the big old fish to the boat the line just separated
and my trophy fish was gone and so was the iron silk. But it does cast well

What is this line exactly? It doesn't look like mono, but its definitely
not a braid or is it?
I got a spool of 14 lb in a pack for joining something, and I finally gave
it a try today. It casts very well, has little memory, and seems to be
pretty tough except that it broke at the knot and cost me a fish and one
of those expensive Secret Weapon spinner baits. I tied on another spinner
bait and cast it for another hour. Didn't get any bites, but I did snag
it up several times, and it seemded to be plenty strong enough.
Anybody use the stuff? Got any opinions on it?
