Good Morning,
Most of you don't know me, but please don't delete this email.
My name is Candy Mohnsen, I am the sister of Dave.
I thought I should let you all know. That Dave, is in the hospital,

The diagnosis, is not good. liver, & kidney disease. Anywhere from
1 month to 3 months.
I know, he would kill me if he knew that I am emailing any of you
on this, But I don't agree with the way that he wants to go out of
this world.
My mother was trying to get a hold of him for 2 weeks, (Dave
couldn't get to the phone). My daughter, Amber, finally called the
police to come over to his house. They forced Dave into the hospital
on 6/13/06.
Since my mother & I live in SD, by the Minnesota border. (Only
about 900 miles). We jumped into the lil' Ford Ranger on Thursday,
morning 6/15/06. Arrived in Morrison, Friday Morning.
We are at the house at the present, trying to clean, And figure
out how & what we will do here.
Again, I apologize, if you feel invaded by me going down his list
of email partners.
But I feel it is important that you know what is going on.

I was just now able to contact Candy, and she was good enough to fill me in
on Dave's condition. As the email indicated, the condition is terminal. She
has issued orders to the doctors to keep him comfortable by whatever means,
but has issued a DNR order because of the quality of life issues. She gave
me a phone number at the hospital, and I'll certainly give that to anyone
here who wants to call, but Dave is still in the Intensive Care wing of the
hospital and is pretty heavily medicated.
As has been mentioned, this really sucks. Candy has to return to her home on
Saturday because she's the wage earner for her family. Dave's mom is 80
years old and isn't really up to the task. At least Candy has enough time
between now and then to layout a path for the near future.
