Default Stained water

Zimmy,

5 or 6' Vis a little colored ?? :-)... That is considered gin clear on
Winnebago...hahaha.... Before the Zebra Mussels, 1'vis and less was the
norm. Goto baits were Spinnerbait (White most of the time), with a BIG
colorado blade, and then a Texas Craw Color 3/8 or bigger Jig with a Big
Claw Trailer :-D. I still opt for that Jig when conditions get tough.
Now when we drop below a couple feet of vis, it usually means tough
conditions, stirred up water, debris, Algae bloom, etc. So slowing down
(sometimes) becomes the key. Rattle Trap (Pick your brand, yozuri
rattln vibe are nice), Buzzbait, and spinnerbait are great for searching
dirty water quick.

I figured everyone would have their own definition of "Stained" Blue
Marsh lake is down right dingy, visibility ranges fron an inch or 2 to
about a foot. Some of the smaller lakes around here have visibility
around 3 to 5 feet. Some lakes in the Poconos I've fish are so clear
you can see the bottom 10 or 15 feet down.
