Default Chub

The Shannon Regional Fisheries Board are killing the chub on the River Inny
there in Ireland.
This is the only river in Ireland with chub in it and they say that English
anglers brought them in and that they are killing the trout.
This is the usual policy of Irish fisheries boards to kill all coarse fish
in waters were game fish exist. They don't even stop non nationals killing
and eating coarse fish

It's about time coarse anglers stood up and were counted, otherwise there
will be no decent coarse fisheries left there.

This is the second time I've seen this topic mentioned recently. Here's
where I saw it first:

Slightly different point of view.

I tend to agree with it. The chub should not be there, they're a recent
introduction.
