Default What do fly fishers like?

Hello all,

I'm in the process of creating a website whose purpose is to help
people do nice things for each other.

Many times, you want to do something for someone, but all you know
about them is that they are interested in a particular hobby or
activity that you don't know much about.

I'm collecting information about as many different hobbies as I can.
So...two questions.

Actually, though I have no spousal unit, nor a *partner,* just a part-time
canine unit, I think your website is a pretty good idea. Like Sandy said
though,

"Buying equipment for fly fishermen is a little like buying clothes
(especially for women), where only the recipient really knows what they
want."

What is really needed for the flyfisher with spousal unit/*partner* is the
go ahead to buy what he or she needs/wants, without a bunch of fuss. If you
could somehow incorporate into your website a "YES BOX" with amounts that
are ok for the flyfisher to spend, now that would be a real coup!

However, short of the above suggestion, most avid flyfishers either know
what they want/need, or they know where to go to get what they want/need and
simply post their request on the refrigerator door for approval.
Unfortunately, for those flyfishers with spousal units/*partners,* the
approval is the hardest part to achieve--or so I've been told, not having
the requisite spousal unit/*partner.*

Thanks for the thought though!

Op --oh yeah, if you are truly getting into flyfishin' yourself, stick
around here for great info on anything related to flyfishin', politics,
social movements, religious debates, loving discussion, hateful replies,
antagonistic and protagonistic arguments, bear protection, the definitive
word on C&R or C& K....--
