1. Texas-rig one end. When it gets ragged, turn it around and T-rig the
other end. When that end gets ragged, wacky-rig it in the middle. When the
middle gets torn and ragged, bite off a half inch or so from the skinny end
and T-rig your new 4-1/2" length bait.... then the other end... and so on. I
think I'd give up on it below four inches, but by that time you should have
caught your limit anyway.
2. Lowest prices I know of are at Alluring Baits out of Lubbock Texas.
They've got lots of colors and three sizes. See
http://alluringbaits.com/products1.p...%20Pack&id2=63. $10
for 50 5-inch Salty Trick Stick baits. 25-packs are $6. $8 for a 50-pack of
4-inch baits. If you buy from them, tell Brent Bollinger I said "hey." Some
good photos of fish caught on their baits are at
http://alluringbaits.com/pages.php?id=11
Or, if you're looking for extraordinary stick baits in a wider range of
colors, and sizes up to six inches, try WermieErnieBaits.com. Go to
http://tournamentbaits.com/oscommerc...products_id=46 .
Their 100 count bag of 5-inch baits is $24.99 -- a very good value, to my
mind. The six inchers are two bucks more.

Thanks,
