Actually, neither the old beaver pond 40 thought was Fawn Lake, nor the actual
Fawn Lake we hiked to, are *in* Montana. FWIW

There is a Fawn Lake in Montana, but it's nowhere near the Fawn Lake in
question. LaCourse is apparently confused.
