Default Selling my boat...

I owned a number of Harleys over about 15 years, and I sold the last one two
years ago.
One thing to think about these days is what type of street environment you
will have to ride within. If you will be forced to do a lot of your riding
on main drag suburbia streets packed with very distracted cellphone using
commuters and soccermoms, riding a bike is not really much fun. You tend to
have white knuckle experiences about every 5 minutes.

Just transportation around town is all I need. Much like my attitude when
I bought my boat... point A to point B.

Just to clear the air... a Harley is NOT in my future. A Honda...
maybe... never a Harley.

(Sorry Wisconsin)

Why? I've owned plenty of both and inspite of the hype and attitudes
there isn't really that much difference. The smaller Hondas are cheaper,
but that's about it. Take the top of the line from both, and
maintenance, life, and price are about the same. Say ReclinerWing vs
UltraBarge. Harley has some non-quality (persay) advantages. Resale
value is exceptional, and the huge aftermarket pretty much guarantees you
can keep your Harley on the road as long as you want to.
