Default Spinning reel for bass

I am looking to replace my current spinning reel and would appreciate any
recommendations. The reel will be mated with a 6'6" Avid M rod and be
used
mainly to fish plastics (Senkos and Tubes).

You'd be hard pressed to find a better reel to go with that rod than the
Shimano Stradic 2500. I know, I have two of them and they've proven to be
very smooth, extremely durable reels. My clients and I beat up on them
pretty hard in a year and they're still as smooth as the day I took them out
for the first time. All I've done is clean and lube them once or twice a
year.

A pretty darned good reel for the money, and my second choice would be the
Shimano Sahara series.
