This is a serious topic. One of the reasons Yuma Pro Am has an age limit is
because of the fear of putting a child alone in a boat with a stranger.

I have heard a couple different people talk about trying a "pro"/child
fishing tournament, but I have rarely heard of how anybody addresses the
issue that strikes fear in my heart.

Perhaps its not a big issue in a big open lake, but on our river system with
all the backwaters and hidden channels it certainly could be.

I would support and even help organize a pro/child fishing tournament if my
fears on this issue could be laid to rest.

What would you do?
