Ok, here's the advice.

Our sources on the Potomac are reporting steady, good numbers of bass using
a 5/16 oz. Midnight Snack Buzzrbait. As early as you can get to it , run
into Chickamuxen Creek. Retrieve your buzzbait as slowly as you can over and
through the grass mats. The bit is best in pre-dawn light and continues
until the sunlight is full on the water.

Recommend you switch your trailer blade attachment to a gold #4 Colorado as
the day brightens. (I think it comes with a black #3 CO, normally.) If you
can't make it over to Chickamuxen, look for another grass-choked arm of the
river that you have to pole yourself into. The more work it is to get to,
the less pressure it's been having.

I'm off to Maryland for the FLW Stren Series Potomac tourney, 8-16-19. If
anyone's in the area stop by the Best Western in La Plata & say hi!
