Default Headed North

Talked to Fritz today and it looks like it is going to work for me to
stay with him until Sunday and fish. He though he had other plans. So
I will probalby arrive in Rhinelander just in time for my room
reservation. I really appreciate the offer of a place to stay - may
need it yet someday. Will try to give you some notice tho! Can't find
your number, Steve. Call me on my cell sometime tomorrow if you can - I
will be on the road for about 12 hours! 770-789-6168.

This is my last post, probalby, until I get back. Not sure what kind of
access I will have the next week.

Looking forward to seeing everybody in a few days.

Ronnie

I leave tomorrow morning dragging my Skeeter. Going to Springfield, MO
for a Professional Outdoor Media Assoc meeting Thurs - Sunday, then on
to Des Moines to fish some with Fritz. Leave about a week from Friday
to go to Rhinelander - have reservations starting on Sunday night, Sept
3. Planning on fishing along the way -anyone on that route wanna go?

I am looking for a place north of Springfield - maybe Truman Lake - to
fish a day or so -anyone know anything about it this time of year? How
about between Des Moines and Rhinelander? If I can find a place to
stay around the Mississippi river I might fish there a day or so - but
it is Labor Day and not sure anything will be open. Could not get a
room in Rhinelander till Sunday night. Steve was gracious enough to
say I could stay there and I may have to take him up on it.

See you in Rhinelander on BOOM!!!

Well Ronnie, there is some pretty darned good fishing on the Mississippi,
but you're right, finding a place to stay might be a problem. If you can't
find a place, remember that the "Huber Hotel" is always open. Give me a
call and let me know what you'll be doing.

And drive safely!
