Rich this indeed the best prop on the market, but this should be noted:
Motorguide (might be Minn Kota, but I'm pretrty sure it's Motorguide though)
now markets the prop with thier name on it. If you buy the Kipawa version &
bring your motor in for warranty work your warranty will be voided
immediately. To be covered you must have the MG version, with the MG logo
on it. If you go with the Kipawa version, make sure you remove the prop
before servicing it.
Also, note that if you bring a prop-equipped motor in for warranty work to
either MK or MG, the first thing they do is remove the prop. If there's
fishing line inside behind the prop both warranties are void. So it's a
good practice to remove your prop (& any line) prior to bringing it in for
service.
I am, by the way, looking for one of these props.

Nobody else has mentioned it, but first you could try a different prop. I
picked up a prop called a Kipawa and I love it. A friend of mine
suggested it. Supposedly you get more power and speed and more efficiency
at the same time. I do have a 24 volt system but I definitely noticed
more speed and my batteries seem to be lasting fine. I think it ran me
about $40, might be worth a try.
