One fundamental rule known by all pilots is: Fly in the middle of the
air. Stay away from the edges. They cause trouble.


Something that most of us intuit at one level or another, I
guess......but sound advice that needs to be stated explicilty from
time to time.

How ironic though, that so many of us take to the air so readily these
days to rush off to what's left of the edges.

who will be traveling at a somewhat more lesiurely pace come thursday
night, but will be knee deep in some nice cool edge by 7:00 on the
following morning.
