A: Grow a thicker skin. Stuff happens on Usenet. Part of the deal. I'd
suggest lurking for a while to get a feel for the character(s) of a group.
Helpful. Plus, you can lurk for a while and see what other people are
discussing or have discussed. Do you think this is the first time your
question has been asked? Maybe Google thru the archives (they go back a

B: There are many, many shops on the web. Try Hook and Hackle
(hookhack.com), Feather Craft (feather-craft.com) to start. The big boxes
(Bass Pro and Cabela's) can work, too.
