Default Suitable reel for float and surface fishing for carp

Hi,

I have a Drennan Series 7 Power Carp Float 13' rod which I love - I use
it for float and surface fishing for carp in the 8-20lb range. I'm
looking for a suitable reel but am not sure if regular 'non-carp' reels
are tough enough. I currently use a Shimano Baitrunner 5000 but it's a
bit heavy duty. Happy to stick with Shimano and looking to spend up to
around £50-£60. Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Martin.

I really rate the Okuma Interceptor reels which I normally use for
feeder/perch/pike, but double up nicely as a float reel when required.
