Oh yeah, if you can find a copy of George Leonard Herter's "Professional Fly
Tying and Tackle Making Manual and Manufactures' Guide," grab it. It's a
great resource and fun read, really!

The copy that I have is copyrighted 1941, but his review of organic tying
materials is still applicable to *modern* fly tying.

If you are a Brit, Mr. Herter's prose may offend, as he is no Anglophile.
