Drew: Dan mentioned one of my favorites in Feather Craft in St, Louis.
They are not especialy cheap, but their quality is top notch, and they
have never screwed up an order of mine. I have been a happy customer
for over a decade. Also, please don't **** off Opie cause he is one of
the good guys.

If you live somewhat close to the new Bass Pro Shop then you might
want to get to know the guys who work in the fly shop and get them to
help you choose tying materials and show you why each chosen pack is
the correct one for you to buy. One of the more difficult things I
found when starting in this hobby was how to choose the feathers that
were best for me. Our local Bass Pro here in Grapevine, Texas has free
tying classes on Wednesday evenings and free beginning fly fishing
lessons on Saturdays and Sundays. You might want to check to see if
something like that is available at that location as well.
