Who were you guided by?

Another friend booked it with the Fly Shop in Redding. I believe Larry
was the guide. It was $395 with equipment using wet flies (2 on a
line). We caught about 20 trout mostly 16-18", although I caught a nice
22" http://www.eztravel.com/flyfishing09...hing091906.jpg

We had a great time...

What fly's. Thinking of taking the boat up and doing some salmon and
trout fishing. I own a jet boat.

must be nice to have a boat!
sounds like fun!

fox's poopah cinnamon #16 & mayfly olive #16,
they let you keep 1 trout, but you have to stop fishing
if you do, so i just released them all back and had a
great time. i saw salmon coming up in pairs, so they
are beginning to come in. the guide said that he was
going to try switching over to eggs soon.

you can't use beads above a bare hook, its considered
snagging i guess.

I C&R all trout as I do not like to eat them. Making a trip to the ER when
I was 11 years old with a trout bone stuck in the throat has mostly put me
off eating trout. I like fish with big bones. They do "Bead" at the outlet
on the Feather as well as on the American river for salmon.
