A while ago I was diagnosed with rotator cuff tendinitis in my left
shoulder.
....recently I was diagnosed with a torn rotator cuff and a buildup of
calcium on the clavicle (hell, I thought that was a musical instrument) been
causing me untold pain in my casting arm. Day after tomorrow I go in for
surgery and I'm sure there will be PT in my future as well as lotsa pain
pills (I hope) Doc sez he will also have to clean out all that cortisone he's
been shooting in there. I didn't know that stuff hung around that long.
Now I'm thinking about all the stuff I have to do with only one arm...taking
a crap leads the list with "how do I do that?"

No jokes, but a personal observation - IMO, "cortisone" and lidocaine
shots are bad juju unless they are for short-term, onesy-twosy-type
relief until a real fix, either through surgery or rehab, can be done.
The good thing is that they kill the pain...and that's among the very
bad things, too...
....well, OK, one sorta-joke:
Um, Frank, "take a crap" doesn't mean to actually _take_ a crap....what
the hell are you doing using ANY hands to _take_ a crap? Heck, why do
you need two hands for the, er, paperwork? Just hold the catalog in
your teeth and rip out the pages...
