As it worked out, it doesn't really matter, but I think the "he's black, so
he's eery bit the hero that Obama might be" was pretty racist, and
hopefully, no wind would have reached that sail.
I'm not so sure that it doesn't matter. Another thing that should give
cause for pause is that no matter who arranged it, Obama went. If he
doesn't have better (natural) instincts than this, he's gonna be in DEEP
trouble when the real tests come. I'm beginning to think he could wind
up becoming the Democratic version of J. C. Watts (or Steve Largent),
and just going private.
