Actually, it increases my casting distance. The lure travels a lot
farther, when it's no longer connected to the line because the knot broke.

I read the first sentence of the response with that quizzical look
that you might get from your dog. I wondered quietly if Mr. Z had lost
the remainder of his faculties. The second sentence was priceless. My
