Fishing Addicts?

What do you do as the weather gets too cold to fish?
I tie flies. I have a little cubbyhole in the basement
and I'll pour two fingers of Laphroaig into a tumbler
and disappear down there until I've cranked out a dozen
flies.
I won't be doing any bass fishing for awhile but Minnesota
winter season opens New Years Day on the Southeast Trout
Streams so I'll be going up there sometime in January. In
the winter the fish become active during the warmest part
of the day and will sometimes take tiny little Griffith's
Gnats and midges. The fishing is slow but the good thing
is, no crowds. ;-)
