One thing I found out was the wrong thing to say to my wife (going
on 38 years)--- I woke up in the morning, stretched and said to
her, "boy, I feel like a 25 year old ----- but there's never one
around when you need her."

Just the other day, I really put my foot in it. I was being dragged
around the shopping malls by SWMBO, and she went into some botique to
get a tiny tube of something. As the cashier was ringing it up, I saw
that it cost almost $100 US!!

I looked at the ingredients (being the cynic I am), and said "You
know, this stuff is just oils and perfume! Whats it for?? She said
"Its anti-wrinkle cream" and I said "For a HUNDRED BUCKS?? I mean, it
doesn't even w....."

Her look alone stopped me in my tracks, but not soon enough. I'm
going to be paying for this for years to come.

The older I get, the more this happen. You would think the adage "With age
comes wisdom" would apply at some point. I'm still waiting. . .

BTW, for someone who pays several hundred dollars for a stick that may or
may not catch fish, you've got a lot of room to talk, buster! ;-)
