Well not a great trip but a fun one. To start off, our plane didn't
even get off the ground Monday morning. "Computer failure" was blamed.
( at least we weren't in the air ! ) So we got to Houston 6 hours late
& missed our connecting flight. So we got to the lake Tuesday in time
for the afternoon session. Caught only 7 fish . Wed. did not have a
good guide the second day.only 5 fish all day .OUCH. Now I'm in panic
mode. Thurs. was cloudy plus a good guide & boated 24 with 3&1/2 being
the biggest. Fri. wasn't bad either catching 29 with 6 fish between 3 &
3 1/2 lbs. All Total, 65 bass after a slow start. One guy in our
foursome caught a 7lb 4oz beast & my son lost a brute close to the boat
tha the guide said was close to 10 ! (he's still upset ) But the
weather was warm & the food was great & I missed a week of temps around
20 degrees so I'm not complaining too much.

That just goes to show that fishing is still fishing. I've fished some
world class lakes and have done well, I've fished some and done lousy. If
you had fun, then the trip was a success.
