south end of the lake, adjacent to the big water. Those with the
wherewithal and desire can run north. Everyone else can head south. Heck
steve, I fished this place from 99 to 2005 from a 14.5 foot boat with a
20, and even now, my kid has a 17 footer with a 115, and I have a 17 foot
aluminum with a 50. Neither of us ever feels threatended by Champlains
size. The thing about Champlain is, there's a jillion places to launch.
You don't have to run it on the water. You can drag the boat to the area
you want to fish, and launch real close.

If that's the case, that's great news. You know the water and I will defer
to your expertise. I just didn't want anyone to not come because they felt
their boat wasn't up to the task.
