They aren't the round platic balls.
They are long sticks with a tubular styrafoam around half to 2/3 of the
length of the stick.
Some use a "spring" to attch the line.
They will normally lie flat on the water. When you get "hits" they will
Pop-Up or Tip-Upand
go verticle. When the fish takes the bait they will Pop-Up or Tip-Up and
they go under the
water. Being long and thin rather than round and wide makes them more
streamllined and the
fish feels them less.
