Surely you jest, but in case not - the (I thought well-known) quote is from
the movie "Deliverance". Four men set out in canoes to explore a wild river
in the deep backwoods of some southern US state (GA?) before it is dammed
for a reservoir & lost forever. Their destination take-out is the town of
Aintree. They meet up with some less than savory locals, and unpleasant
things occur, the most notable of which ends up with Ned Beatty in his tidy
whities squealing like a pig.

Overall, it's a rather good movie based on a novel by James Dickey, and
perhaps analogous to your trip (hopefully sans the unpleasant encounter with
the locals.)
