professional guides, lodges, TV fishing shows, hero shots, trip
reports, good buddies, brothers-in-law, uncles, state departments of
natural resources (or fish and game or whatever), roads, bridges,
aerial photos, satellite imagery, gps, trails, peer reviewed journal
articles, visible fishing gear, eavesdroppers, binoculars, maps, local
chambers of commerce, fly shop owners, fishing clubs, bait containers,
footprints, parked cars.....or open water,


It's a good thing you didn't mention any of those. In particular
satellite imagery. If you had, someone might have come up with
