Default Combo recommendations

Alright then, sounds like that will be the combo of choice! You guys gave
me some real good answers, and I appreciate it! The only thing, as some of
you have stated, would be the rod. Eventually, after I get used to it, and
if I like it, I will swap it with a G-Loomis for sure. I will definitely
give it a fair shake this time as well, and use if more than a week.
There's to many pro's using them for them not to work, or know something I
don't know, plus I DO want to get into a little more jig fishing this year,
and I think it would definitely be to my benefit to use a bait caster in the
heavier stuff.

Anyway, thanx again for everyone's input! Valued as always

Hi all,

I've always been a spinning reel man... Thinking about giving the
Baitcasters another try. I tried one once, and got endless backlashes, and
when it didn't, was stuck with 10 yard casts. I've heard a few folks brag
about there Curado's, so I think I will go that way, I think. Here's the
combo I'm looking at for my 2nd try rig. The 7 Footer Medium Heavy.

Will be doing mainly LM and SM fishing with it.

Would this be a good one? If not, what would be? Thoughts? Hints and
tips?

Thanks guys!
