Last autumn we were in West Cork as the rivers were too low to be
worthwhile and we wound up mostly sea fishing - mullet and pollack
predominated - mullet to over 7lb so well worth the effort but OT here.
Predictably, on the last day of the trip the heavens opened ... a variant on
the ol' "You should have been here last week" syndrome.
ps as for the grilse,at one time u could have set your clock for
them,but they are later and later and smaller every year..
If we get another dry season it might be better to look for seatrout or
(sal****er) bass.
