Just an FYI, "courteous" and top-posting are mutually exclusive in a
Usenet newsgroup where the convention is the normal bottom posting.

Ken, a few questions to you, since you're one of the originals of
this newsgroup.

Are you happy with the current ROFF newsgroup?

Sure why not, it's not all that much different than from any
other time in its history. Polite, on-topic queries are always
responded to with good info from knowledgable fly fishermen.

If not, what changes would you like to see in this newsgroup?
If you were a new angler and cruised into ROFF, what would be
your first reaction after reading some of the post?

I'd think "Damn, these guys are contentious, I'd better read this
group for awhile before I wander in and do something stupid like
top-posting."
