Sorry about the "someone" reference to you in an earlier post.
I use Google Groups, to read usenet, and it's hard to use.
I lost *my* cool and yelled at Ken Fortenberry last week,
because of Google Groups confusion about who said what.
I use it because that's all I have.

I've allowed myself to get sucked into off-topic slug fests
in the past. And in this case I seem to have started one.
But in general my record is good. For the past 15 years
I've mostly asked or answered on-topic questions, and I did
(do) my best to ignore the cat fights. (my first post was
to rec.fishing in 1993.....preceded only by the halfordian
golfer, to my knowledge...among still breathing participants)

I think the newsgroup would be a healthier place if more
readers made the same effort.
