How would you esplain it?
I currently see ROFF as a lot like "Everyone Loves Raymond" re-runs. Like
that show, there aren't many characters you can actually like much,
basically it's a play with only antagonists, but the first time I saw any
given episode it was a little amusing. Sometimes I even chuckled the
second viewing. Now I just check to see what episode is showing and turn
off the TV.
Now, since the above is nearly certain to be taken for more than what it is,
simply an analogy for my view of this place, let me add
I HAVE received some good info here .... tippet rings from Mike, PreCip from
Ken, cheap "frogsbutt" from rw, and quite a bit more
There ARE some people here I think I'd like to meet .... wayno, willi ( was
here ), maybe YOU
I HAVE been treated well, on occasion .... Chuck made and sent me some
leaders I value time and homemade represents time...thanks Chuck, I
carry them every day I fish. rw e-mailed me info on a 'secret spot'
Warren ( was here ) offered to guide/row me on the Madison for the price of
a six pack. There were more.
I gave a Loomis 6 1/2 foot 3 wt rod to a fellow no longer here, and that I
never met. He expressed a love of small streams and I hope he enjoys it
in the type of places it was built for, my body can't do the crawls anymore.
( last I heard from him was a private mail about what a jerk Wolfie can be,
months ago.)
And, rather obviously, I'm still here, some .... hoping for an episode I've
missed.
Nice breeds nice, nasty breeds nasty .... this post can ( likely will ) be
taken as either and in either case that will be more of a projection of what
the reader wants to hear, ONTO me and my motives, than an accurate
assessment, I bet.
