shucks, it warn't nothin'. i can usually turn out about a dozen
in 15 minutes. not counting parallel parking, of course.
Jeff beat me to my comment ("a very professional job, as always"),
but I admit it was fun to open the box and know which one was your fly
without even having to look at the tag. Of course it didn't hurt that
it was a TN Wulff; I don't expect there's too many folks on here who
even know what the heck that is. :-)
Anyhow, it's already in my flybox for my Smokies trip in May (along
with a bunch of the other flies you guys tied).
Nice work everyone. It's always a kick to see what folks in
different areas/countries carry in their flyboxes.
On my fly: It worked well for me in Canuckistan on some fish that
see a lot of pressure. It's originally from Australia, I believe, and
I added a few modifications of my own (like the clipped hackles on the
bottom to get it to sit lower in the water).
I plan to try it on the hillbilly fish as well.
