Default Suffering HuckSet

Thanks. ....have been using a Fisherman's Health band Cabela's has on
clearance and it really does work.
http://tinyurl.com/2oyzdq . As far as grip, I'm right handed but pitch with
my left hand palming the reel. That must be the repetitive motion. Initially
pulled it last August when I over extended trying to get that extra few
feet on a pitch and have been paying for it ever since.

The jig bite has been awesome down here in SEVA for the past few weeks.
Where I used to be able to launch a cinder-block into orbit on the set,
now each swing is met with forearm pain just down from the elbow. Enough
so that I'm subconsciously easing up and missing more than I'm boating,
even with needlesharp hooks. Anybody got any home remedies for
Tendonitus?

I used to have the same problem. The doctor told me it was from gripping
the rod too hard and making the same, repetitive motion while casting and
retrieving. So I changed the way I hold the rod and "mix things up" while
at the same time have learned I don't need to have a death grip on the
rod.

Ice down the elbow and affected area, take anti-inflammatories and get
yourself a tennis elbow brace. Using these plus changing the way the rods
were held did wonders for me. But it was one rough reason and made for
some
strange tan lines.
