Not sure what your motivation is, as this article ends with hypothesis
for how Gore might be working behind the scenes to help Apple become
more eco-conscious. Personally, I think this line sums it up pretty
well:

"Why would Gore vote against them? He declined to respond, through a
spokeswoman, but it probably has less to do with the substance of the
issues than the sorry state of corporate governance."

Unless, of course, you want to hold Gore accountable for how the
wheels of coporate governance turn, as well as for all the wrongs of
Apple.

As I said, it was posted without comment. Take from it what you will.
One thing I'd question is why timewise CNNMoney had time to do a story
on what Greenpeace, etc. is doing getting Gore to push for a company
on which he has been on the board for 4 years to catch up with _Dell and
HP_ - I mean, it's not like the other companies were Ben and Jerry's and
Kashi or something. I will say it did remind me of the "power usage"
stuff and his nearly 12-month solar system install on a system that,
typically, would take a week or so, tops.

It also brought to mind the zinc mine - his line is that he no longer
holds the lease. True enough, except, IIRC, it expired a coupla-three
years ago and the company chose not to renew for its own business
reasons, Gore didn't refuse to renew it.
