Made a quick overnighter up to Penn's this weekend. Went up to check on
the progress of the my buddy's new Fly Shop, Penn's Creek Angler, and got
in a few hours of fishing on Sunday.

We managed a good number of trout between us, Bruce with the numbers, but
I landed a couple of those brownies myself. One was a beautiful 18-19
inch guy with beautiful Spring coloring. A little thin in the tail, but
very healthy for a fish just coming out of winter. Actually landed him in
an old haunt I hadn't fished in a while, good to be back...

Bruce's place is shaping up. Should be ready in a week or two. The two
apartments will be large sized with a large in-room bathrooms (what a
concept..). Can accommodate several Clavers if anyone is still looking
for piece of turf. He'll have a healthy supply of local ties too, so stop
in while you are up to check it all out.

Rumor is there may be a 2007 Clave shirt to be had too (actually not a
rumor, order is in). So if nothing else stop in to pick up the official
ROFF sanctioned Penn's shirt.

Mike

sheesh, who is footing that bill? Let me place my order and participate in
kind...

Mike, The shop will open this Saturday, they just called and the
retail space is finished!!!!! They will finish the efficiency units
next week. This is going to be fun especially with the mad scientist
TL at the fly pattern helm. Penns Clave 2007 shirts are here (about
20) they are nice but not over done. Got 6 bookings for the rentals
this week... I was starting to worry. I should have known fishermen
wait to the last second. They are as picky as midge sipping trout.
I'll post some pic's of the shop and apt's on the website soon. Thanks
for catching that big fish for me I was getting tired of putting him
in my net (didnt you see the hole punch in his tail.
