I hope so, too, but if the disposal switch is on a wall that can be
leaned upon, it's in the wrong place and/or the wrong type of switch.
Typically, the switch is, as it should be, placed in a location where
such cannot happen, such as in the backsplash. If it were mine, and it
was or had to be on a "normal" wall, it'd replace it with a covered
switch or other safety switch, but I'm a belt-and-braces kinds of guy
when it comes to stuff like this...as always with such, YMMV...

Actually, I was leaning over the disposal and stretched to rest my hand on
the wall..... more scary than painful or damaging...but man, what a rush!
