Would like some opinions from ppl who have used these for fishing. I.am
thinking of getting a Caddis Float Tube ...but would like to hear from
someone who has used one..whether they recommend them or not.

Thanks

Donna

Donna,

I bought the Caddis Navigator IV two years ago and love it. It allows me
to carry it in to local lakes and ponds that have no or primitive boat
access. Even strapped it to my back and hiked in three miles to a remote
lake that had no other access. Have caught fish just feet away from my
feet. Here in WA State, the water is cold in the spring. I use a pair of
thermals under sweat pants, covered by normal chest waders and keep warm.

Only drawback is that one should not drink much coffee or beer before
venturing out for the middle of the lake.

Thanks for your post. I did purchase one and can't wait to try it out. The
only thing that kinda freaks me out is having fish that could be that close
to my feet. Another drawback is like you mentioned not being able to have a
nice cold beer or two on a hot day or a hot cuppa on a cold morning...maybe
will have to put the kidneys into training for this new adventure. Haha

One of the attractions of it though is also being able to get into lakes and
streams that you couldn't access otherwise.

Again thanks for you opinion on the subject.
