Default Herter's stuff

I have 2 of their books:

1) The Herter's guide manual.

2) The Herter's Bull Cookbook
which came with a hunting knife.

I also had a Herter's number six, I believe that was the model, fly
tying vise which I cannot find, unfortunately.

It was a great company with a wonderful catalogue and items that kept
a kid in rural Tennessee, supplied with outdoor gear, both during the
later stages of WW2 and after it's conclusion.

I just typed in their name ( herter's.com ) and it took me to Cabela's
site. Jim
