It's raining tonight.
It should be cloudy tomorrow morning.
Any tips on fishing for planted trout in an urban northern california
lake?
Lake Ralphine in case you know the lake.

Powerbait. Take a couple of different colors, but make sure one is green
with sparkles. Small treble hook with small sliding sinker. Berkeley
makes a hook setup, buy one to see how they are. Wal-Mart carries them.
Toss out with light line, 2-4# test and with a loop in the line on the
rod, hang a very light weight item on the line. Maybe 1/2 oz. Then you
can see the fish take the bait and start moving off with the hook and bait
as the line tightens up. Also fish a worm the same way. Get a worm
inflator and put a little air in the worm so it floats. After a rain, the
worm should work well anywhere there is a small stream running into the
lake.
