I have a hunch, just an eentsy tiny one, that the people he calls
morons or idiots are people he'd rather not have for friends.

That brings up who would be good for the office. Bob Weinburger,
Conan or Claspy (the librarians), jeff, Frank Reid, george cleveland,
a few others. Not a darn one of them I can think of that I'd guess
would be willing to serve. Frankly, most of the ones I think would be
lousy at it wouldn't be willing to serve, either. It's just that kind
of place.

Now, hold on there, missy. I've been serving as ROFFP for many years now
(self appointed and serving) and will be *damned* if I'll let some
pimply-faced librarian wedge his way in. Maybe when my term as Master Of
All The Universe And Beyond expires, I might think of slowing down a bit
and taking on an apprentice, but not until at least 2036.
