Default Tulpehocken report

......went to the Tully last evening, hoping for the sulfurs
to be started. No luck, I saw something like 5 sulfurs
in the air all night. Still, there were tan caddis around,
along with tons of midges. I took several decent browns
with a tan submerger wet fly. Nothing else worked, and
I did try quite a few other flies, just for the sake of trying.
Decent hatch of anglers, as well, and all were experiencing slow fishing.
The best angler I saw all evening was right upstream from me.....a
spectacular, large blue heron, who parked himself on a midstream rock and
plucked a small fish(trout, carp, chub?) from the fast water.
