I noticed the conspicuous lack of a fly fishing section in the FAQ.
That's because you are our resident fly basser and you haven't written
that section yet. I've caught a bass or two on the fly, but its been
so totally by accident that I wouldn't have a clue what to write.
You on the other hand are one of those zen masters of the peaceful
moment and the gently flutter of the streamer as your artful stabs
with the rod make it dance and jump to the joy and astonishment of the
watching bass. Surely you can reflect on the peace and sereneity of a
moment on the water with the fall colors playing tricks on you at
every pool and riffle. Perhaps you can school us on how the only
competition of the fly fisher is that fleeting moment when you and the
fish are connected by that most gossamer of threads. Perhpas you tell
us about the shear joy you felt when didn't count or weigh or measure
your catch enjoying only the contest of the moment. A moments
reflection on your peace with the world as you thank your adversary
and so tenderly released back into his home waters might be in
order.
