Sure... just use battery number two as your third battery to run lights etc
from.
Now that I've answered your question... there's nothing wrong with what you
are wanting to do, except that if you completely drain your trolling
batteries you will have a hard time starting your motor.

Neg. on TM, jumper between #1 negative and # positive. Here is my
question: i do not want a third battery on board, so is there a way i
can run my locators and lights from the current battery(s)?
