Well Ken, there's a good reason why I haven't answered Sandy's question. I
don't have a decent answer. There are far too many variables in his
question.

What type of tackle is it going to be used on, spinning or baitcasting? If
it's going to be used on spinning tackle, then 1/4 oz. is great, but perhaps
it will be too light for casting gear. 1/2 oz. would be better for casting
gear. How deep are these lures designed to run? I hate running deep diving
lures on spinning tackle and most of the shallow baits I have are lighter in
weight and more difficult for my clients to cast on casting tackle.

See what I mean? We need more information before a responsible answer can
be given.
