Again, you miss the point of Nogood Boyo's post. His concern for the
trout's welfare is important even if that was not the advice asked for.
As it was in the public domain, someone somewhere might well have read
that well intended advice - which would be great.

Catch and release is what was in his mind and if that was the case then
he gave sound advice.
