Killing bass?
Killing bass?

A friend directed me to a local fishing web site. One of the discussion
pages was about freshwater fishing. I was amazed to see pictures of guys
holding up stringers of dead bass like it was still
1954.
I don't think I have killed a bass on purpose in over 20 years and I
don't think I know anyone who still keeps bass. Do any of you folks eat
bass?

Yep, I eat bass...there are other species of fish I prefer, but a small
bass fillet is pretty good eating in my opinion. I do release most of
the fish I catch now....too lazy to clean and cook em when there is a
great little reastaurant down the street than serves up one of the best
fish dinners you could ask for
.
I just don't have a problem with someone keeping the fish they
catch....I think that's the reason fishing got started!
